Drama Club
Mountain Park Elementary School Drama Club was founded in 2006 and is a volunteer-run organization that enables students in grades 2-5 the opportunity to participate in a musical production performed at the Roswell Cultural Arts Center. Students may choose to participate in a performing role or assist in the production as a member of stage crew. Auditions are held early in the school year and practices are held after school. Students learn the basics of theater production, stage direction, set design and vocal performance.​

"Roald Dahl's Matilda Jr." is a condensed version of the full-length Broadway musical, adapted from the book by Roald Dahl. The show tells the story of Matilda Wormwood, a brilliant and imaginative girl who is unloved by her parents and mistreated by her cruel headmistress, Miss Trunchbull.
