National PTA has a long-standing commitment to arts education. The Reflections program provides opportunities for recognition and access to the arts which boost student confidence and success in the arts and in life. This 50+ year-old program helps them explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life.

If your child is interested in Visual Art, Music, Dance, Film, Photography or Writing this competition is for them! Students K-5 may submit in as many categories as they wish. Two winners from each grade in every category will advance to the District level!

Guidlines

There are several forms that you, as parents, need access to for your student to submit art for the contest. Please reference these forms and guidelines below. The contest will take place towards the end of October.

There are seven different categories of art and each has a separate word document of guidelines.
