At Mountain Park Elementary PTA, we believe that every little help counts. We depend on the support of volunteers to carry out our mission of enhancing the educational experience for elementary level students. We have various opportunities for you to make a difference, whether you have a little or a lot of time to commit. Grandparents Day - help prepare for the event on 11/22 and 11/23

Science Lab - lead one grade in two labs, labs are already prepared, need leads to run the lab

Holiday Extravaganza Basket Coordinators - answer questions regarding baskets via email, help organize baskets in the library on 11/7 and 11/8 for two grades

Drama Club - the Drama Club is looking for Shadow Volunteers to fill several positions for the 2025/2026 MPE production. The positions they're looking for include Shadow Directors (TWO), Shadow Producer, Shadow Carpenter, Shadow Props and Shadow Choreographer.

Business Partner Fulfillment Management - work from home, manage the excel sheet to ensure business partners are being given what was promised throughout the year
How Do I
Become a
Volunteer?
All school volunteers must register at the Fulton County Schools Department of Safety & Security website.
How do I register to become a volunteer?

Visit the Volunteer Registration Website and fill out the volunteer information form.

Complete the Mandatory Child Abuse Virtual Training.

Wait for a confirmation email from the Raptor system.

Visit the school and begin volunteering.

What you need to know:

All persons wanting to volunteer in the Fulton County School District after June 1, 2023 must sign up on the district website, https://www.fultonschools.org/Page/9539. Even if you have volunteered in the past you must sign up, as if it is your very first time.

Volunteers who complete the process will be valid from June 1, 2023 until May 31, 2025.

Volunteers will be able to register beginning June 1, 2023.

Once you register to volunteer, you are in the system. You will NOT receive a confirmation.

Please only sign up using Laptop or Desktop computer, mobile and tablet devices sometimes have issues with the application.

Once you are registered, the next step will be to show your identification at school, once we are back.

Dad's Club
Dads' Club is an exciting opportunity for Dads (and other Dad-figures) to help our school by volunteering your time.
Some Dads' Club volunteer tasks will be:

Helping with Morning Bus/Carpool Arrival
-
Hallway Patrol
-
Lunch/Recess supervision
-
Classroom help
-
Helping with dismissal
Every Friday our amazing Dad's Club relieves the teachers for a morning of carpool take over. Come join in on the fun opening car doors for the students. The kids love having the dads there while music is playing and the blow up man is dancing.
